You may want to partner with boots-on-the ground Rep Anna Eskamani and her People Power For Florida? I would contact her Orlando office. She is amazing and takes NO corporate donations.
You can see on Mobilize all the college events they have scheduled.
Great idea, sharing with my list and about to donutate. Question: is this partisan and if not, why not? I wonder if you could do a quick little partnership with Field Team 6. They already have a bunch of infrastructure and volunteers to support partisan in-person VR...
Thank you so much for your very generous donution!! Currently, all of our partners are College Democrats of America chapters so itβs partisan. But we will also support non-partisan partnerships with pro-democracy/reproductive choice groups. Sometimes there are limited slots for partisan groups on college campuses so having flexibility is helpful. For instance, one of our events will be with the mock trial team at a major university. PS: Love FieldTeam 6!
Hi Dela - Thanks so much for your question! Itβs really simple - we have partnered with College Democrats student organizations and they agree to host a Donuts+Democracy event(s) to help get students registered, informed and make sure they have a voting plan. And we donate to cover the cost of donuts! Weβve had two events in the last two days and they were a huge success! Hereβs more details on the why and what from our launch letter: https://democratsdeliver.substack.com/p/donuts-democracy-magic?r=51f18
Thanks for getting back to me. I understand what you said. What I donβt understand is how it works. OK, you have a table with donuts. Then what? Are they free to anyone who comes by? Or does recipient have to listen to voter info to get donut? Or get one after voting? Or get one after getting printed material? What is communicated to recipients and how?
Basically, as students walk by, the table hosts (college students) ask students if they are registered to vote and have a plan to vote. If they donβt/arenβt, they provide information on how voting location and registration. The donuts are available to students and not conditioned on registration/voting.
Yes, I saw a Voto Latino email saying $27 to register each new voter. With stakes so high, it's important to know what GOTV methods are the most effective in terms of time and money. That said, in this time of peril and promise: All Of The Above!

Thank you and couldn't agree more! Updated post to add last four of mobile. Thanks!
Wonderful idea! How about adding NC State and UNC-CH, UNC Charlotte to your list for NC? So many students at all 3!
