We’re going to keep this short, but this week’s SCOTUS decisions and comments from the Heritage Foundation’s president (and Project 2025 architect) declaring the launch of a Second American Revolution that will be “bloodless if the left allows it to be” were so alarming that we thought we should drop you a quick note.
75% of people have never heard of Project 2025, so what is it?
Project 2025 is MAGA’s 900-page blueprint for dismantling our democracy and the reason Trump only needs one day to be a dictator is because Project 2025 outlines a series of executive orders and paths for expanding executive privilege that will allow Trump to legally reverse every action the Biden administration has taken to protect us (the below graphic doesn’t even cover it, but it is a good start).
And just days before the 4th of July, the Supreme Court provided MAGA with its first weapon — the expansion of executive privilege. Trump v. United States, in a 6-3 ruling, declared presidents shall have absolute immunity for “official” acts — in essence, exempting presidents from the rule of law (something necessary for dictatorship). Justice Sonia Sotomayer wrote a scathing dissent, underscoring the dangers of this decision, writing:
If precedent, logic, and integrity will not impede the billionaire-funded MAGA Project 2025, the only thing that can stop it is us (regardless of who the Democratic candidate is). As we said in our last newsletter, this election is about one thing: what kind of world we want to live in.
How do we make it happen? Get the word out!
75% of people have never heard of Project 2025. While the Democratic Party has established a Stop Project 2025 Task Force and the incredible Taraji Henson’s speech at the BET Awards created a spike in Google searches about Project 2025, we need to continue sharing the information with our communities. Here are a few of our favorite links and clips from the last week:

This election is about the world we want to live in — the world we want our family and friends to live in. So do we want to live in a world that values and uplifts all Americans or Trump’s America?
In your corner,

When Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation and a leader of Project 25 says “We’re going to take the country back” he means waaaaaaay back. Back before Roe, back before civil rights ….back back back. We can’t let that happen.
